Regional Nurse

Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Current Nursing License or RN
• Experience with preschool children preferred
• Experience in Community Health preferred

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Implement health and safety practices which conform to Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Monitor each child’s health by performing periodic health checks, screenings and observation.
• Assist Family Worker in helping families obtain medical and dental services, with referrals, follow-up and treatments.
• Teach, practice and implement health and safety practices to children, staff and families.

$750 Sign-On Bonus

This position will require applicant to possess a valid Driver’s License with a Driver Record Check to be conducted in addition to agency required background clearances.

• Full Time (37.5 hrs/wk),10-month position working a school year August -June annually with an established summer break between school years.
• Rate of Pay: $21.70/hr
• Bilingual Abilities Preferred (Eng/Spanish) – 5% additional pay
